Lieve allemaal,

Na 4 mooie jaren in het Poortgebouw gaat ons atelier verhuizen naar het voormalige Riffellokaal van de Meelfabriek! Dat betekent een vaste en mooiere plek én een wijziging van ons lessysteem per 1 april. 

Huiskameratelier in het Riffellokaal

We krijgen een mooie plek met veel daglicht door de hoge raampartijen, uitzicht op de tuin, met het huiskamergevoel in de industriële en inspirerende sfeer die de Meelfabriek ademt. De inrichting wordt prachtig met nieuwe kasten, tafels, verlichting én veel praktische details om de naailessen nog beter te kunnen geven. We zijn trots op wat er gegroeid is in het Poortgebouw en gaan met heel veel zin en nog professioneler, verder op de nieuwe plek aan de Maalderijstraat 2. We krijgen de sleutel in april/mei en verhuizen zodra dat kan. Daarover hoor je uiteraard tegen die tijd meer!

Van leskaart naar abonnement

Ons atelier is een plek om wekelijks aan de slag te gaan met naaimachine en stof. Dát is wat we bieden in onze wekelijkse naailessen en hoe we zien dat cursisten het meeste plezier uit de lessen halen. Het woord leskaart vervangen we daarom door abonnement. Door de gestegen kosten vanwege inflatie en de geplande verhuizing met nieuwe huur zijn ook wij genoodzaakt onze lesprijs vanaf 1 april aan te passen. We hebben door de lagere kosten van onze “pop-up-locatie” dit zo lang mogelijk uitgesteld maar moeten er nu ook aan geloven. Hieronder lees je hoe de overgang naar het abonnement eruit ziet: 

  • De naailessen worden aangeboden als abonnement van 12 lessen dat automatisch wordt verlengd na elke 9de les.
  • De prijs voor 12 naailessen van 2 uur wordt €300. Je kunt betalen in twee termijnen van €150 of met korting via één factuur van €290.
  • Twee weken voor de afloop van een oude “leskaart” (van voor april) ontvang je de eerste factuur voor jouw abonnement. (Laat het ons weten als je in twee keer wenst te betalen.)
  • Het abonnement is wekelijks opzegbaar met een opzegtermijn van 3 weken. 
  • Inhalen blijft hetzelfde: je kunt 2 gemiste lessen per lesperiode van 12 lessen inhalen, in een andere groep, op basis van beschikbaarheid.

We hebben veel zin in deze nieuwe stap en zien er naar uit voor jullie op onze nieuwe locatie weer leuke naailessen te mogen geven!

Dear participants, 

After 4 beautiful years at the Poortgebouw we are moving our atelier to the former Riffellokaal of the Meelfabriek! We will have a long-lasting and more beautiful place and we will have a different session-system as per April 1st.   

Brand new & cozy atelier in the Riffellokaal 

We will have a beautiful place with loads of daylight, high fenestration, garden-view all together with the cozy, industrial and inspiring atmosphere the Meelfabriek area breaths (see attachment!). The furniture is going to be stylish, including new cupboards, wide tables, good lighting, and a lot of practical details to make our sewing sessions even better. We are proud to see what has grown at the Poortgebouw and we are really looking forward to moving on even more professional to our new atelier at Maalderijstraat 2. We will receive the keys in April/May and will move in as soon as possible. Of course you will be updated on this by then!  

From session card to subscription 

Our atelier is a place to enjoy being creative with fabric and sewing machines every week. This is what we offer in our weekly sewing sessions and what we see participants love the most. We will change the word session-card for subscription, ensuring regular participants keep the same flexibility as you are used to. Because of the rising costs due to inflation and our planned move including a new rental contract we have to raise the prices as of April 1st. We have been able to avoid a raise because of the lower costs of our current “pup-up-location”. Since we must move on, we cannot avoid this raise now. Please read below what the change to a subscription means for you: 

  • The sewing sessions are available in a subscription for a weekly class at a fixed timeslot & teacher, until notice of termination, with a duration of 12 sessions. The subscription is automatically renewed after every 9th session. 
  • The price for 12 sewing sessions of 2 hours is €300. You can pay by two invoices of €150 each or with a discount in one invoice of €290. 
  • Two weeks before the last session of your running old “session card” you will receive your first invoice for the subscription. (Do let us know if you wish to pay by two invoices) 
  • The subscription is terminable weekly with a notice period of 3 weeks. 
  • Catching up stays the same: you can catch up 2 missed sessions per period of 12 weeks, in another group, as a service based on availability.
