We plaatsen dit bericht naar aanleiding van de aangescherpte maatregelen van de overheid ter bestrijding van het Coronavirus. Op dit moment vinden we het niet meer maatschappelijk verantwoord om alle activiteiten in ons atelier door te laten gaan: sociale onthouding is immers het devies. Het atelier is dan ook fysiek gesloten tot in ieder geval 6 april.
Ook weten we dat naaien heel ontspannend werkt en in deze tijd van crisis juist heerlijk is om te kunnen blijven doen. We zijn dan ook bezig om te bedenken hoe we jullie kunnen gaan ondersteunen, helpen en aanmoedigen om lekker aan de slag te blijven. Via video-conference software willen we de vaste groepen een naai-moment aan gaan bieden de komende weken – we zoeken uit hoe dat het meest praktisch werkt per docent. Mocht je daarin mee willen denken, horen we dat graag in een reactie onderaan deze pagina:
– Welke projecten zouden jullie thuis willen (leren) naaien op dit moment? Denk aan: zonnebril hoesjes, mondkapjes, t-shirtjes, tasjes – behapbare projecten om via video samen te maken.
– Zouden jullie graag gebruik maken van een aantal “advies/hulp op afstand” momenten via video-contact? Zo kun je thuis naaien en vragen stellen op vaste tijdstippen aan ons.
– Lijkt het je leuk om op je vaste naailes-tijdstip in de week met je eigen naailes-groep in video-contact te zijn en zo synchroon te naaien? Er is dan uiteraard ook ruimte voor beantwoorden van vragen/advies.

We are sharing this message to inform you that our atelier will be closed until April 6th, following the Corona-prevention-regulations as sent out by the government.
Also we know that sewing brings diversion and relaxation – which is helpful in these crisis times. Therefore we are already looking into options of sewing together using video-conference software – to motivate and encourage you to keep sewing! You can help us to tell us your preferences by providing input on the following:
– Which sewing projects do you want to (learn) sew at this moment? Think of projects that are doable using video contact, like: sunglass covers, bags, t-shirts…
– Would you like to use several “advice/help on a distance” moments provided using video calls? This makes it possible to sew on at home and get help when needed.
– Would you like to meet using video-conference with your own sewing-class-group at your regular sewing-class-time including your teacher? You will be sewing at the same time all at home and have a social moment with each other & advice/help from the teacher.
